Once the mold is removed from the shoes
The storage environment also improves

When I took my shoes out of the shoe box for the first time in a while, I found a faint whitish substance... I thought it was dust, but it turned out to be mold. Such things happen often. When mold grows, the only thing to do is to remove it. Mold often takes root in leather, so wiping it off is not enough; you must use an alcohol sanitizer to remove the fungus itself. It is necessary to remove the fungus itself by using alcohol sanitizer, etc. Let's wipe off the fungus patiently using the sanitizer.
In addition, it is not enough to simply remove mold from shoes. The problem is the environment in which the mold grows, and if the environment in which the shoes are stored, such as high humidity and poor ventilation, is not improved, the mold will grow again. Let's try to remove mold from shoes and at the same time improve the ventilation of clogs and the entrance.

Leather shoes with a faint white mold on the surface. At first glance, it looks like dust, but the mold has taken root in the leather and cannot be removed by simply rubbing the surface.

Step 1: Remove some by wiping with water

Remove dust, dirt, and floating mold on the surface. Use a water rag or wet wipe to wipe the surface with water. This alone will remove a large amount of mold on the surface.

Step 2: Wipe the inside of the shoe with water as well.

Mold often grows on the inside of shoes, so wipe the inside thoroughly with water as well. It is a good idea to remove the shoelaces before starting the work in order to thoroughly wipe the inside of the shoes, even the inside of the toes.

Step 3: Wipe with alcohol sanitizer

Apply alcohol sanitizer spray to a rag and wipe the surface. If the spray is applied directly to the shoe, it may stain the shoe, so test the spray on an inconspicuous area.

Step 4: Wipe thoroughly all over the surface.

Mold can also grow in corners, such as between soles and seams. Since it is difficult to remove, wipe them thoroughly with alcohol sanitizer. It does not matter if you wipe the sole with a cloth until the fungus is removed.

Step 5: Revive the leather with cream

Once the mildew has been removed with the sanitizer, allow the leather to dry. Once dry, apply emulsifying cream. You can use a cloth to apply the cream, but a brush is better for getting the cream into the smallest details.

Step 6. changing the shoelaces is a must

After applying the cream, brush, wipe, and finish brushing, the same process as for normal maintenance. Old shoelaces will become a source of mold again, so it is best to throw them away and replace them with new ones.

Step 7: Finish!

The mold has been removed, and with the help of the cream and brushing, the original deep black luster has been restored, making it hard to believe that mold had grown on the shoes. The laces have been renewed, and the mood has been refreshed!

Mold lurks between the sole and the bottom side.
To eradicate it, peel off the sole and wash the whole shoe.

When Brass receives a shoe with moldy soles for maintenance, it peels off the sole and washes the entire shoe. This is because mold often grows between the sole and the underside, and this method is the best way to eradicate the mold. If the mold is deep-seated, then again, ask a specialist.
