The leather is made from premium full vegetable-tanned cowhide by Lo Stivale, a prestigious tannery founded in 1958 in Tuscany, Italy. Lo Stivale is a member of the Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium and has been supplying top-quality vegetable-tanned leather to European luxury brands for many years while preserving traditional methods.

Full vegetable-tanned leather is environmentally friendly, as it doesn’t release wastewater, earning it the label "eco-leather." The way the leather ages will vary depending on individual usage, but over time, it develops a glossy finish and deepens in color. It ages gradually, and its resilience to stains makes the camel color easy to use.
