At first, we sold products manufactured by our partner factories to specialty stores nationwide. But over time, we wanted to be able to deliver products made by our own hands directly to customers, and in 2015 we launched cotocul, a brand of handmade small leather goods. The word "cotocul" is a coined word combining "koto" (ancient capital) and "culture" (culture). The brand name expresses our desire to deliver the materials and culture inherited in Kyoto and Japan through our products. Our brand concept is "Creating products that bring smiles". We hope that our brand will bring smiles to the faces of many people, including not only the customers who purchase our products, but also ourselves, the craftsmen who create our products, and our suppliers who provide us with materials.
